Parking in Highland Park is scarce. All
parking places are owned by the Highland Park Association. Each cottage is allocated two designated parking places.
All unauthorized
cars parked in Highland Park will be towed. In accordance with the city ordinance
signs indicate that towed cars can be picked up from:
Tri-City Towing
5 South. Beechtree
Grand Haven, MI 49417
(616) 842-9610
Towing is inconvenient for the residents and expensive for the person
illegally parked. Residents have a choice of either warning the illegally
parked car drivers by putting a sign on the car and notifying other residents
of the license number of the car, or to immediately have an illegally parked
car towed.
It is not our intention to tow guests, cleaning crews, handy men, etc.,
so those people should check with their hosts to find out where they can
legally park. The safest thing for guests to do is to place a sign on
the dashboard indicating “Highland Park Guest” and tell which cottage and
person the person is visiting with a phone number of the host to avoid accidental towing. If
a car is parked in someone else's space a sign in the window may not always
prevent towing.
This policy applies only to designated parking spots and other property
owned by the Highland
Park Association.
Unauthorized vehicles parked on city street in HIghland Park may be ticketed
and towed by the city. If the city tows your car because it is illegally
parked, call the Grand Haven Police at (616) 842-3460 to locate your vehicle.
